The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat today chaired a meeting of District Level Implementation & Monitoring Committee (DLIMC), for computerization scheme of PACS recently announced by Ministry of Cooperation Govt of India. The scheme is being implemented at national level by NABARD.

The meeting was held to recommend the Primary Agriculture Cooperative Credit Societies (PACSs) of the district to be covered under the said scheme undertaken by Govt. Of India.Addressing the meeting, the DC directed concerned officers to start work on all Primary Agriculture Credit Societies in the district and ensure monitoring on a periodic basis. 

He said the scheme has an extremely bright future and the need of an hour is to focus on it with added dedication.The DC stressed on proper implementation of all need based schemes in vogue in a time bound manner as per laid down specification and guidelines. 

He asked the concerned officers to monitor the 14 recommended PACS as selected by the committee as per clause 3.12 of the schemes for computerization project.He advised the Cooperative department to ensure maintenance of records of PACS to facilitate the computerization process.

Among others, the meeting was attended by Dy. Registrar Cooperatives, District Development Manager NABARD  and Deputy Executive Manager Anantnag Central Cooperative Bank .
