CVSCO deputation calls on Ramzan

A deputation of Confederation of Volunteer Society and Charitable Organization (CVSCO) called on Minister for CA&PD, Transport, Ch. Mohammad Ramzan, and apprised him of various issues of public importance especially related to rural areas.The deputation was led by its Chairman, S.S.Sumbria and president, B.L.Parmoo.The deputation discussed in detail several demands and grievances seeking an early redressal to the same.The issues raised by the deputation included SRTC bus service from Jammu to Billawar via Mansar on daily basis, distribution of ration to people of rural areas as per BPL survey conducted by the Rural development Department, fixed time schedule for CAPD sale outlets in rural areas, early issuance of new ration cards, early payment of pending liabilities to Anganwari Workers’ Job Training Institutes of Jammu, involvement of NGOs in implementation of centrally sponsored schemes, adequate supply of water and power to rural areas etc.The deputation comprised of Usha Nanda, Sanjeev Parihar, Santosh Basotra, Ashok Kumar and P.K.Ganjoo.The Minister assured the deputationists that all the issues projected by them would be looked into for necessary action. He, however, asked the Director Food & Supplies, G.S. Chib to examine the demands raised by the deputation related to his department and sort out the same at the earliest.
