Senior National Conference Leader Chowdhary Mohammad Ramzan has said that National Conference will script a historic, pro-incumbent performance across the length and breadth of the State as the people of this State would re-endorse the honest and transparent good-governance delivered by Omar Abdullah for the last six years.Chowdhary Ramzan said that the people of Kupwara District had always invested their invaluable faith in National Conference and were an integral part of the party's struggle to strive for the State's dignity and respect."People of Kupwara District hold a very special place in the heart and vision of National Conference and have always been in the front rows of a valiant political struggle to protect the interests of the State from both internal and external threats of political manipulation. These elections will see the people of Kupwara giving yet another proof of their political wisdom and loyalty to the integrity and dignity of the State by reposing their faith in the tall, dynamic leadership of Omar Abdullah", Chowdhary Ramzan said.

The Senior National Conference leader said that the party was not only set to be returned to power in Handwara, Kupwara and and Karnah but would also reclaim Lolaab and Langate in these elections that come at a time when the people of J&K have demonstrated valor and courage in their struggle to re-emerge and re-start their lives after the devastating floods."The people of Lolaab have been at the receiving end of hollow slogans and melodrama from PDP and have barely seen their MLA in the last six years. The Omar Abdullah Government has extended maximum possible support and assistance to Kupwara District including Lolaab and Langate but unfortunately the local MLAs in these two constituencies deliberately chose to obstruct development and progress there for their own partisan, political motives. Now is a time to ensure that the entire Kupwara District progresses and moves ahead together towards a new future under the leadership of Omar Abdullah", Chowdhary Mohammad Ramzan said while addressing numerous rallies in the District.

Addressing various rallies and roadshows in Kupwara District at large and especially in Handwara, Chowdhary Mohammad Ramzan lashed out at PDP for showing its hunger for its own political rehabilitation at a time when National Conference had made it clear that its priority is the rehabilitation of the flood victims."PDP's shameful role in bringing the rehabilitation process to a virtual standstill due to its lust for power is unforgivable and will receive the wrath of people from the entire State in the coming elections. National Conference has never shied away from elections and will fight these elections with utmost passion and dedication while exposing PDP's anti-State political agenda before the people", the senior NC leader said.

Castigating those political entities who were still trying to take the people of Kupwara for a ride, Chowdhary Ramzan said that those giving eloquent moral sermons and passing ironic edicts should introspect and look at how they have erratically wavered between political extremes and poles in the last twenty years."The people of Kupwara have witnessed how these people have changed a hundred masks in the last twenty years. These people are answerable to all of you for misleading us and betraying thousands of our young men and children who paid with their lives as these people filled their coffers and amassed property worth billions within and outside the State. These entities have been defeated on numerous occasions in the past and will fail to make a dent into NC's popularity and support in the coming elections", Chowdhary Mohammad Ramzan added.
