Recently, a heinous incident has been making headlines. In the latest news, a video has been going viral all over social media in which a woman has been brutally beaten by a group of men. If reports are to be believed, it has been noted that a man is suspicious of his wife’s affair with his friend. So, after being caught with his friends, he assaulted her and tied her to a tree for seven hours.

The disheartening incident in Banswara, Rajasthan, happened on July 29. He not only tied her for hours but was also seen beating her fiercely with sticks. Take a look at the video in which a man is seen beating his wife brutally, and she, in fact, has been crying for help. 

After the video went viral, National Commission for Women Chairperson Rekha Sharma sent a letter to Rajasthan's Director General of Police requesting intervention and securing the filing of an FIR. The Commission has demanded the immediate arrest of each defendant as well as the finest medical care possible for the victim. Additionally, NCW requested that the woman's safety be guaranteed as well as security and appropriate rehabilitation for the woman.

"The National Commission for Women has come across a Twitter post enclosing a video wherein a woman is being beaten up and brutally assaulted by a group of men. The incident is alleged to have taken place in Banswara, Rajasthan. The video is horrifying and extremely shameful and outrageous to dignity of women," NCW said in an official statement.

"The gruesome crime is condemnable in strongest possible words. The audacity of men to publicly beat a woman in broad day light raises a serious question on the safety and security of women in the State. The Commission has taken cognizance of the matter," the statement further read.

The woman shall definitely get justice as she has to face this horrifying treatment from her evil husband.
