The meeting of DCC-DLRC of Ludhiana District was held at Bachat bhawan  District Court complex Ludhiana. In this meeting Additional  deputy commissioner (RD) Amit Kumar Panchal released the Annual Credit Plan (ACP) of  Rs.64347 crore for the Ludhiana district for the year 2022-23 for Agriculture and allied activities, MSME, non farm and other priority sectors.

The ACP was  prepared by Punjab & Sind Bank, the lead bank of the district on the basis of potential linked credit plan of National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD).“The Lead District Manager Sanjay kumar Gupta told that the plan envisages a total outlay of Rs. 64347 crore allocated to various sectors and each bank has been given a target. The outlay marked an increase of  4.81 per cent over last year’s ACP target.

As the district was predominantly MSME based, the credit target amounting to Rs 19350 crore  was given to MSME sector.Agriculture and Allied sectors topped and were given separate targets of Rs. 18130 Crores and OPS target of Rs. 14811 crores. The total outlay for Priority Sector advance Rs. 52291  crores.

Shri Sanjiv singh AGM from RBI Chandigarh, Ram Saran AGM from Punjab and Sind Bank  Zonal offica Ludhiana, Davinder kumar AGM NABARD, Roop Chand Roy, Director Rseti, Inderjit Singh, Inspector police Deptt, officials from Goverment Department and DCO'S of scheduled Banks were present in the meeting.
