Himachal Pradesh Police written exam for the recruitment of constables has been cancelled. Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has announced the cancellation of written examination due to the possibility of paper leak in Shimla today. The exam was conducted on March 27this year.The Chief Minister said, “I want transparency in each recruitment in the state.  The written paper of the police recruitment examination was conducted on March 27, 2022 is hereby cancelled. It is feared that the paper of this exam has been leaked. SIT has been formed to probe the matter. After the completion of the investigation, strict action will be taken against the accused persons.”

He said that the government has instructed the police department to conduct the written examination again at the end of this month.SIT has been formed to investigate the paper leak. DIG Madhusudan heads the SIT and this team is already on the job to investigate and gather the facts.It is added that on 27 March 2022, the written examination of police recruitment was conducted for 1700 posts.
