Prof. Jaspal Singh Sandhu, Vice Chancellor, Guru Nanak Dev University released a Coffee Table Book entitled “Sadda Sohna Punjab" here today in the University Campus on the occasion of World Wetlands Day. This Coffee Table Book is authored by Chairman Punjab Infotech and Nature Artist Mr. Harpreet Sandhu, which depicts mesmerizing unseen Nature locations of Punjab and beautiful nature locations in and  around District Amritsar. On this occasion, Prof. Hardeep Singh, Dean Acadmic Affairs, Prof. Karanjeet Singh Kahlon, Registrar and Prof. S.S. Behl, O.S.D. were also present.  

After releasing the Coffee Table Book, Prof. Jaspal Singh Sandhu said that it is indeed a great endeavor by Mr. Harpreet Sandhu to highlight these rich yet lesser known places in the State of Punjab. He said that this Coffee Table Book “Sadda Sohna Punjab" will play an immense role in educating the young generation about the richness of Punjab as it brings alive the off beaten tracks, spots and places forgotten by people and time. It will definitely acquaint them with romanticizing locations, the meadows and mountain schemes from all directions.Prof. Sandhu congratulated the Harpreet Sandhu for beautifully amalgamating together the philosophy of Guru Nanak Dev ji and the glimpses of nature of Punjab, which emphasizes that Almighty prevails in his whole creation and thus will inspire people of Punjab to look at nature as Devine presence of the Creator and to have loving relation with it.   He thanked Prof. Jaspal Singh Sandhu for providing guidance in completing this valuable project on Nature of Punjab.
