In a significant achievement, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SKUAST), Jammu was conferred with Krishi Udyami Krishak Rattan Puraskar 2021 for excellence in academics during Progressive Agri Leadership Summit 2021.Vice Chancellor SKUAST Jammu, Professor J P Sharma, received the award from Union Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Parshottam Khodabhai Rupala which has been conferred by Krishi Udyami Krishak Vikas Chamber during the summit held today at Dr Y S Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Solan, Himachal Pardesh.During the Summit, Dr. J P Sharma also co-chaired a technical session entitled ‘Peri-Urban Agriculture: Realizing Potential for Resilient & Enterprising Agriculture Ecosystem’ which was attended by progressive farmers, farm women, Farmers Progressive Organizations, officers from line departments and other stakeholders.
