Doda Police today organised an impressive/colorful cultural programme at Town Hall Doda. The programme was witnessed by a large number of school students /general public of the Town.The programme was organized under Civic Action Programme (CAP) and in memory of police martyrs who laid down their lives for the security and integrity of the nation.Artists from across the District, especially school students participated in the cultural programme and presented their items. It is pertinent to mention here that Doda Police is organizing different programmes from Oct 21, 2021 as part of Police martyrs Day.District Development Commissioner, Vikas Sharma was the Chief Guest on the occasion. The program was attended by SP Hqrs Doda, Master Popsy, SP Ops Doda, Raj Kumar, Dy SP DAR Doda, Shokat Ali, Chairman Municipal Committee Doda,Ved Parkash Gupta, Executive Officer municipality Doda besides other officers/officials of Doda Police were also present.
Meanwhile, Integrity pledge ceremony was held by District Police Doda under the supervision of officiating SSP Sh Abdul Qayoom at all its unit Hqrs , District Police Lines, Police Stations, Police Posts and Police pickets with the responsibility to lead by example and the need to put in place safeguards, integrity framework and code of ethics to ensure that ‘we are not part of any corrupt practices and we tackle instance of corruption with utmost strictness.’The main function was held at District Police lines Doda where officiating SSP read out the pledge and all the officers/officials repeated the same.SP Hqrs Doda, Master Popsy, SP Ops Doda, Raj Kumar, Dy SP DAR Doda, Shokat Ali and other officers/officials of DPL Doda attended the pledge taking ceremony.
