As part of its ongoing series of events in the honor of Police martyrs. Doda Police today organised 'Run for Unity' here from District Police Lines to Ganpat Bridge Crossing.The Marathon started at 8 AM with the participation of boys and girls students, civil society members, besides personnel of CRPF, SSB, IRP5th Bn , District Police  and ended at Ganpat Bridge Crossing, covering about 4 KM distance.The Run was held for three categories of   Senior Group i.e. above 18 years of age, Junior Boys under 18 yrs of age and Junior Girls under 18 yrs of age .Earlier, the Run was flagged off by the Additional Superintendent of Police Headquarters, Master Popsy. JKPS from DPL  which witnessed huge participation of youths both boys & girls besides and citizens of different age groups. 

All the winners were rewarded with a cash prize by the Chief Guest. Doda Police is conducting different Sports activities under Sports Festival, 2021 and in the memory of brave Police Martyrs for the youths of the District.Among others present on the occasion were P N Tikoo (SP) Dy CO. IR 5th Bn as special guest,  Shokat Ali, Dy SP DAR,  Inspector Ved Parkash of  CRPF 76 Bn and Inspr. Arun Sharma SHO, Police Station Doda  as  guests  of honor.   The whole event was organized under the supervision of SSP Mumtaz Ahmed.
