The District Level Selection Committee (DLSC) under the chairmanship of District Sheep Husbandry Officer Kulgam today conducted selection of beneficiaries under Integrated Sheep Development Scheme (ISDS) for the establishment of, Ewe and Shearing units here.The unit holders shall be provided 50 percent subsidy under ISDS.A total of 19 applicants were selected for the establishment of 25 Ewes/Does units, 1 applicant each for 75 Ewes/Does, 150Ewes/Does, 200 Ewes/Does units and 7 applicants have been selected for the establishment of Shearing units.The units involve a subsidy amount of Rs 45 lac approximately.Present on the occasion were representatives of the District Development Council Kulgam.
