Deputy Commissioner, Bandipora, Dr Owais Ahmad on Thursday inaugurated the One-Day Counseling cum Mentorship workshop for J&K Civil Services Combined Examinations, 2021, organized by District administration Bandipora.On the occasion DC Bandipora, Dr Owais, interacted with civil services aspirants and shared his experience and important tips with them. Meanwhile, he detailed his journey of cracking the examination and recommended the students to have a proper time table and maintain consistency during preparation.Dr Owais Ahmad said the students can easily crack any competitive exams if guided properly. He said the students need to  develop self-confidence and self belief.The only thing lacking is timely guidance. If we have good mentors and start preparing in time, there is no doubt many more students will crack the examination.', he maintained.He said the aim of organizing such workshops is to provide guidance to the aspirants regarding the preparations for the competitive exams.He said that Resource Persons will keep guiding aspirants through virtual platforms.Further, He added that the administration will be conducting similar sessions for preliminary qualifiers.Speaking on the occasion, SSP Bandipora, Rahul Malik, IPS, also shared his experience and strategies of qualifying civil services examination with the aspirants and asked them to work hard and with perseverance with the right strategy.Dr Owais said the district administration and few resource persons have volunteered for providing free of cost study material to those aspirants who lack financial resources and the administration will also provide every possible support to the aspirants.During the technical sessions KAS officers, Mehraj Wani deliberated upon the new pattern of Exam, Choosing optional and syllabus while Mir Tajamul talked about Time Management. Sahir Majeed discussed how to prepare Current Affairs while Naushad Anjum talked about learning of Right Study Material (Offline/Online). Hidayatullah Mir spoke about the strategic approach.The technical sessions were followed by the question and answer session wherein the aspirants posed questions to the   resource persons to clear their doubts.Senior Superintendent of Police Rahul Malik,  Manager DIC, Mehraj Wani, BDOs Mir Tajamul, Noushad Anjum Mir, Sahir Majeed, Hidayatullah Mir, Senior Medical Officer Dr Parvaiz Sajad and other senior officers besides students and aspirants.
