Jan Sunwai camp held at block Gujroo Nagrota

A block level Jan Sunwai camp was today organised here at Lakhri panchayat of Gujroo Nagrota to listen to the people’s grievances and  prioritise the developmental aspirations of the locals.BDC Chairman, Abhay Kumar and other members of PRI projected the issues related to their Panchayats  before official team headed by BDO, Rajesh Kumar and comprising field functionaries of line departments and bankers.The PRI members of Thada Kalyal-A, Kandharnu, Rajwalta and Kashed Panchayats demanded early intervention for  identifying clean and perennial source to provide safe drinking water supply to the locals.The   Jal Shakti department functionaries assured that   necessary action would be taken to ease out the drinking water woes of the locals.The deputation of different panchayats also demanded taking up of projects left out  under phase I & II of B2V programme of the government. The issue of shortage of staff in BDO block office was also highlighted by the members of PRI and demanded early intervention of the authorities to fill up the vacant posts.The BDO assured that all the projected issues would be addressed it in a time bound manner.
