Jan Abhiyan: Pulwama residents express satisfaction for on spot redressal of grievances

Continuing with the blend of Jan Abhiyan Phone- in -call programme and round the clock grievance redressal mechanism, residents of Pulwama today expressed satisfaction over the on spot resolution of greviances and pending issues by District Development Commissioner (DDC), Dr Raghav Langer.The DDC along with concerned officers hold Jan Abiyaan on daily basis from 10:30 am to 11: 30 am since its announcement by the government.The Jan Abhiyan is also conducted in Subdivision Tral and Awantipora where Additional Deputy Commissioner Tral and Awantipora in presence of concerned officers listen and redress the greviances and issues raised by the public.While interacting with the officers, the DC urged them to remain accessible to people in their respective offices so that day to day matters are redressed on the spot.He exhorted upon all the officers present in the meeting to make efforts for the successful accomplishment of governments newly launched initiative B2V3 and Jan Abiyaan.The DDC directed the designated officers to keep track of every single representation submitted by the applicant for prompt redressal, besides asked them to share the same with all the concerned departments through online mode.Speaking on the occasion, the DDC informed that the public hearing would be held daily, except Wednesdays and Sundays, from 10: 30 am to 11:30 upto 1st October 2020 during which the issues of the general public will be listened to and redressed on spot by the designated officer.
