District development Commissioner, Rajinder Singh Tara, today sought full cooperation of people in the fight against Covid 19 and appealed them to observe SOPs and guidelines, particularly amid the festival season.He was addressing a press conference and extended his warm greetings to the people of Kishtwar on the auspicious occasions of Eid-ul-Adha  and Raksha Bandhan festival.He appealed the people to celebrate these occasions by following the SOPs including wearing face masks, offering prayers at home, restricting movements and staying at home.He also informed  about the Rapid test facility initiated in the district recently to scale up testing which he said is key to fight against the pandemic efficiently.DDC further informed that Holistic and target testing is being done at war footing level in all the containment/red zones of the district to mitigate the growing problem strategically.Besides, he urged the people not to hide their travel history and contact the administration to avoid any type exigency.He appreciated the people of Kishtwar for showing a great deal of cooperation in following segregation calendar on business establishments and observance of odd even formula for plying of vehicles.
