Commemorating 550 years birth anniversary celebrations of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the digital show and light and sound show stationed at the Multipurpose Stadium in Nehru College drew great response from the people of Mansa.SDM Sardulgarh Mr Rajpal Singh inaugurated the last day of light and sound show. Addressing the gathering at event, he lauded the efforts of Punjab government in propagating the teachings of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji through the best of digital techniques. He said that the lifetime of Sri Guru Sahiban, his journeys and his teachings have been perfectly depicted. He added that laced with technology, the event has left memories in minds of youngsters especially who felt connected to Guru Sahiban Ji.Deputy Commissioner Mansa Mrs Apneet Riyait added that on the last day today saw huge enthusiasm in the visitors. She thanked the visitors and officials and employees of the district administration for being a part of the event despite chilly winter. She also thanked the Punjab government for holding such informative event.During the three days event, around 6500 people viewed the digital museum, while around 2500 people saw the light and sound show. Besides people from various walks of life, NSS volunteers of Government ITI College Mansa and Khalsa School Mansa also visited the digital museum. Assistant Director Youth Services Mr Raghubir Mann was also present.
