Commemorating 550 years birth anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the digital museum by Punjab government today drew a huge response. Large number of people visited the digital museum that imparted knowledge on teachings of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.Colored in the colors of spiritual fervor, many people squatted on the floor and watched various events related to the liftime of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Students of various government and private schools and also that of the colleges visited the digital museum.Deputy Commissioner Mansa Mrs Apneet Riyait said that the digital museum comprises of seven channels. Each visitor is given a headset. When the visitor moves from one screen to another, information in headphone changes. Besides this there is a spectcular 5 minutes show on the song Aar Nanank, Paar Nanak. Also a virtual reality gadget has been included in the digital museum. When seeing through the virtual reality gadget one can have darshan of Sri Nankana Sahib. Right from the entry of Sri Nankana Sahib, the entire lay out and places of worship of Gurudwara Sri Guru Nankana Sahib have been explained.One of the school teachers said that the colorful representations of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji's life is full of information. "It rather a better way of making children learn about Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and the information is expected to stay in their minds for a long time," said the teacher from village Kotra school.
