The first day of light and sound show dedicated to 550 years of Parkash Purb of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji saw the religious enthusiasm taking over the crowd. Peope of Mansa watched Guru Sahiban's life portrayed on a huge screen put up at the multipurpose stadium in Nehru Memorial College.The light and sound show is a part of the initiative by Punjab govenrment under which digital musesum has been put up at the same venue from Dec 23 to Dec 25, while the light and sound shows are being held on Dec 24 and Dec 25. Two shows of light and sound show are being held of 45 minutes each starting from 6 pm.Chairman Zila parishad Mansa Mr Bikram Singh Mofar inaugurated the first show at 6 pm. Addressing the people he said that appreciated the efforts of Punjab govenrment in bringing people closer to the teachings of Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji with the latest technology enabled laser shows.Also speaking at the event District Congree Committee president Dr Manju Bansal said that in today's time Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji's teachings hold greater relevance when we our living in testing times. She called upon youngsters to tread the path of divinity and follow Guru Sahiban's teachings. Deputy Commissioner Apneet Riayat and SDM Mansa Sarabjeet Kaur was also especially present.
