Dedicated to the 550th years of Prakash Purb celebrations of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the Punjab government's initiative digital museum and light and sound show started here today. A large number of people braved the chilly cold weather to know about the path that Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji laid for everyone to follow.Inaugurating the digital museum Deputy Commissioner Mansa Mrs Apneet Riyait appealed the residents of Mansa to visit the digital museum with their families and know about the life and teachings of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. She said that while digital museum will be stationed at the Nehru College stadium till Dec 25, the special light and sound shows will be held on Dec 24 and Dec 25 from 6 pm to 8:30 pm. She said that these digital and graphical representations were rare ones and that everyone should watch them.On the first day today a large number of public, school students and government employees visited the show. Being organized by the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Punjab, the main aim of this show was to connect youngsters with the teachings of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.  The digital museum consists of various true incidents associated with Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji in a digital format on large sized screens. There is also a show run for duration of 5 minutes that covers Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji's life from EK Onkar to the time he laid foundation of Sikhism. Besides this there is also a miniature replica of Gurudwara Janam Asthan Sri Nankana Sahib, where the founder of Sikhism Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji was born. The replica is center of attraction for visitors.SDM Mansa Mrs Sarabjeet Kaur was also especially present at the event.Meanwhile, the Chairman Zila Parishad Mr Bikram Mofar will inaugurate first light and sound show on Dec 24, while District Congress President Dr Manju Bala will inaugurate the second one. On Dec 25, the MLA Mansa Mr Najar Singh Manshahia will inaugurate the show.
