The Jammu and Kashmir Unit of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday said any decision regarding the delimitation of Assembly seats will be accepted by the party but “its main demand was the final decision should be unbiased.”Party’s General Secretary (Organization), Ashok Koul told the wire service—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that there is no demand from the party over the delimitation and they expect that all the process in this regard will be unbiased.He said that the committee in this regard will be formed, headed by a senior judge, who will take the decision keeping in view all the aspects. “We hope that the process in this regard will be started soon following which a decision in this regard will be taken,” he said.Pertinently, Koul is on a visit to Kashmir where he is taking stock of preparations for the party polls. He also chaired a meeting of 10 district presidents today who briefed him about the preparations.Koul when asked about the polls said that all the process related to the party polls including the elections will be held in the end of December.“We have already started preparations for the party polls to elect new members. The process of membership as well as elections of polling booth will be completed till December 15,” he said, adding that in the end of December, the party in both the Union Territories including Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh will get its new chiefs.
