Member Parliament, Shamsher Singh Manhas, dedicating 100 KVA transformer to the public, today inaugurated the substation at Upper Roop Nagar.Managing Director, Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Ltd. (JPDCL) Jammu, Yasha Mudgal was also present on the occasion.Speaking on the occasion, MP Manhas said that the new Sub-Station will further enhance the power supply in the area bringing relief to the inhabitants in coming months.Pertinently, the 100 KVA Sub-Station was constructed out of the MPLAD funds of the Member Parliament.Others present on the occasion included CE (Distribution), JPDCL, Jammu, Sudhir Gupta, SE, O&M Circle-I, Jammu, Sandeep Seth, Executive Engineer, ED-III, Jammu Neeraj Sharma.Locals also turned up in good number during the inauguration of the substation.
