Dedicated to 550th Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the Punjab Government in collaboration with the UT Administration on Monday organized magnificent multimedia floating light and sound shows at Sukhna Lake.The 45- minute floating multimedia light and sound show mesmerized audience by showcasing life journey of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji through colourful visual presentations, ultra-modern laser techniques and unique acoustics.During the shows the audience were disseminated the message of strengthening the ethos of communal harmony, peace, compassion, brotherhood, women empowerment, protection of natural resources, and humanity as preached by Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.The audience bathed in Guru Sahib’s glory as the floating multimedia light and sound show aptly showcased the life of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and Guru's efforts to promote social equality were also showcased to the audience in the letter and spirit through the shows.The Punjab Government in association with UT administration will also hold this mega event here on 19th November at 7 pm to 7:45 pm and 8:15 pm to 9:00 pm to commemorate the 550th Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.The Multimedia floating light and sound shows are being organized in the state as a humble and befitting tribute to Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji by Punjab Government. Such shows have already been held in Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Ropar, Hoshiarpur, Gurdaspur, Moga, Kapurthala, Sri Amritsar Sahib, Tarn Taran and Ferozepur at Sutlej and Beas rivers.The first of its kind and path-breaking initiative of the state government was also aimed at acquainting the younger generations of the state with the teachings of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji by using the hi-end visual projection and advanced laser technology.
