C.B.S.E. Volleyball Cluster XVII Championship U-17 & U-19 which started on 9th October concluded today with enthusiasm and fervor at Gian Jyoti Global School, Phase-2, Mohali. It was very interesting to watch the final matches for U-17 & U-19 Girls CBSE Volleyball Championship.Nishan Academy, Muktsar and  Guru Gobind Singh Public School, Muktsar played the final match of U-17 Girls in which Nishan Academy defeated Guru Gobind Singh Public  School by 3-0 and won the CBSE Volleyball Cluster XVII U-17 Girls Championship.The best part of the championship was that Nishaan Academy, Muktsar and  Guru Gobind Singh Public School, Muktsar also qualified for the finals of U-19 Girls and again Nishan Academy defeated Guru Gobind Singh School by 3-0 and won the CBSE Volleyball Cluster XVII U-19 Girls Championship.Ms Jasmeet Kaur from Nishan Academy won the Best Player Trophy U-17 for her smashes and diligence performance throughout the championship.Ms Harshdeep Kaur from Nishan Academy won the Best Player Trophy U-19 for her outstanding performance throughout the Championship.Valedictory ceremony was conducted by Gian Jyoti Global School, Phase-2, Mohali. Mr. J.S. Bedi, Chairman, Gian Jyoti Group of Institution was the Chief Guest on the occasion and Mrs. Ranjeet Bedi, Director Principal Gian Jyoti presided over the event.

Results of U-17 Girls:

Nishan Academy, Muktsar bagged 1st position in the Championship followed by Guru Gobind Singh Public School, Muktsar bagged 2nd position; Sant Ishar Singh Public School, Sangrur and Pioneer Convent School Malerkotla bagged 3rd positons in the CBSE volleyball Cluster Championship U-17 Girls.

Results of U-19 Girls:

Nishan Academy, Muktsar bagged 1st position in the Championship followed by Guru Gobind Singh Public School, Muktsar bagged 2nd position;  Keshav Public Senior Secondary School, Sangrur and Mata Sahib Kaur Public School, Ropar bagged 3rd positons in the CBSE volleyball Cluster Championship U-19 Girls.All the participants were awarded with participation certificates. Trophies and medals were given to the teams who were placed first, second & third. In addition to this the team managers/coaches were also honored by the school authorities.In the end Principal, Mrs. Gian Jyot purposed a vote of thanks.
