Gian Jyoti Global School organized “Say no to Plastic” campaign to spread the awareness among the masses about the hazard effects of plastic on environment and human beings today at Phase-7, Market, Mohali. 6 school came together to launch this campaign against the use plastic.During the drive students interacted with the shopkeepers, customer and others about hazard effects of plastic and distributed them paper & Cloth bags to shopkeepers. Students also organized a rally and Students narrated the slogans during the rally ‘Say No To Plastic and Save Earth, If you can’t Reuse it then Refuse it, Don’t be Drastic, Say No to Plastic.’Mrs. Gian Jyot, Principal, Gian Jyoti Global School while speaking on the occasion said that this ‘Say No To Plastic Campaign is the  Collaborative efforts by 6 different Schools of Mohali who under the banner of Hub of Learning have come together by an initiative of CBSE, New Delhi. The whole purpose to bring 6 different schools on one platform is to create an exceptional learning environment which will give returns in manifolds to the society.Principal  & Students of Shivalik Public School, Mohali, Paragon S.S.S., Mohali, Maxim Merry School, Kharar, Henderson Jubilee School, Kharar and Infant Jesus Convent School, Phase-11, Mohali also joined this joint effort to make this event a great success.
