Speaker, J&K Legislative Assembly, Dr Nirmal Kumar Singh today met the Advisor to Governor, Kewal Kumar Sharma here and discussed development issues related to Billawar constituency.The Speaker listed several issues pertaining to PDD sector and sought PDD Division for Billawar. He also highlighted the issues pertaining to Rampur Grid Sub-station and receiving station at Parnala and also sought Fire Station for the constituency.They held a detailed deliberation on construction and upgrading of PMGSY roads in the constituency including Seri Muni road, Phinter to Sukral road besides black topping of KishanPur road, circular and internal roads of Billawar.The Speaker said that Billawar has a great potential for development and with better connectivity to the area, the pace of development will certainly get enhanced.He also sought additional funding for some development works and put forth several other issues related to PHE, Lakhanpur toll.The Advisor assured the Speaker that all the issues discussed in the meeting will be looked on priority and necessary steps will be taken to address the same.
