Renowned Punjabi singer and actor, Kulvinder Billa, mesmerized the students with his melodious singing and magnetic charm, at a ‘Star Day’ organized at the Doaba Group of Colleges, Kharar, Mohali. The students got completely carried away, and could not help moving their feet to the wonderful beats and exhilarating tunes. The students were greatly thrilled and enthralled by his popular songs like “Angregi Wali Madam, Antena, Soorma, Plazo and many more songs.  Kulvinder Billa also took this opportunity to highlight his days as an undergraduate and postgraduate student, before    switching to his real passion singing.Sh. Kuldip Chahal IPS, SSP Mohali, was the Chief Guest of the occasion. He commended the enthusiasm and discipline of the students, and advised them to pursue their goals through hard work and perseverance. Mr. Gurjot Kaler, DSP (Crime and Intelligence) and a prolific author, joined as a Guest of Honour.The Chief Guest and other distinguished guests were welcomed by DGC chairman Mr. M S Batth, president Dr H S Batth, managing vice chairman Mr. S S Sangha, executive vice chairman Mr. Manjit Singh, director general Dr D Singh, and senior DGC officers and trustees.More than 2000 students, DGC Officers, faculty members and guests greatly enjoyed the programme.
