Bhartiya Janata Party General Secretary (organization) Ashok Koul while addressing party workers, office bearers and district presidents of Kashmir zone, today stressed on re-starting a mass contact program under the leadership of concerned ministers of BJP in all the districts of Kashmir to explain BJP’s achievements and future programs to the people of Valley.Koul was addressing party workers at BJP’s Srinagar office where in he highlighted Prime Minister Narendera Modi government’s achievements during the past four years especially, the unique model of his governance, people to people contact and his vision for poor and downtrodden.  Terming the Prime Minister’s governance model as the best ever so far where in poor people like farmers and destitute got the direct benefits, Koul selected a team of 10 BJP ministers and directed them to visit each concerned district for which they have already been made incharge of, to address the grievances of people on the spot besides explaining the BJP’s future vision to people.He said Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta has been assigned Srinagar district extensively and meet people for grievance  redressal, while as  Sunil Sharma will tour extensively to Budgam district, Sat Sharma  Ganderbal, Dr Devender Baniyal  Anantnag, Ajay Nanda  Kulgam and Shopian, Shakhti Parihar r Pulwama,  Abdul Gani Kohli  Baramulla, Sham Choudhary  Kupwara and  Rajeev Jasrotia  Bandipora.

He said its high time to build a fresh contact with the people of Kashmir on ground and to apprise them about the future vision of BJP about good governance.Speaking on the occasion, Dr Narendera Singh, the State General Secretary of BJP, who is also incharge Kashmir affairs directed the district presidents to take the governance model of BJP to the grassroot level so that people get maximum benefit of the party’s governance model.He termed the Ujwala scheme launched by the Prime Minister Narendera Modi as a major achievement of the BJP regime in JK stating that at least 5.5 lakh connections were provided to poor women free of cost which comprises 20 percent women population.Dr Singh directed the party leaders to meet the well known people of the respective districts and build a mass contact with the people under Sampark say Smarthan (Connect and Support) program so that party’s agenda reaches out to every house in Kashmir.Present on the occasion were State vice President Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi, State Chief BJYM Dr. Suresh Ajay Magootra, State President Minority Morcha Mohammad Sidiq Khan, VC SICOP Dr. Ali Mohammad Mir,  Protocol Incharge Kashmir Arif Raja, Vistark Incharge Kashmir Malik Mushtaq Noorabadi,  District Incharges of Kashmir, District Presidents of Kashmir and senior leaders.
