A meeting of the Committee on Subordinate Legislation of Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council was held under the Chairmanship of MLC, Ashok Khajuria here today.Legislators, Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo, Naresh Gupta, Dr Shenaz Ganai, Mohammad Muzaffar Parray, and Vikram Randhawa gave their valuable suggestions to improve the functioning of the Committee and make it result oriented.The Committee held detailed discussion on the rules, regulations and Act of J&K Public Service Commission and Social Welfare Department and expressed concern over the luke-warm attitude of these departments for delaying in furnishing the requisite information to the committee. The Committee directed the Council Secretariat to write to the concerned organizations to furnish the details pertaining to the pendency of cases in various courts for its perusal in its next meeting.Officers of Council Secretariat were present in the meeting.
