Ashmah International School, Mohali organised Show and tell activity in tiny tots showcased their performances It is one of the simplest and interesting activities that young students were engage in, where the performer faced the audiences with a particular item and proceeded to show it while telling information about it without preparation & training. The main benefits of “show and tell” activities are mainly to impart speaking skills & audience participation, cooperation.The Principal, Babita Dogra was impressed by the way the children conducted themselves. While congratulating each participant for the excellent effort and hoped to have more such activities that will increase the vocabulary and speaking skill in children as according to her Competitions like “Show and Tell” works as ladder to gain confidence and improve oral skills in the students.The Chairman of the School, JS Kesar while distributing prizes said that Show and Tell, if channelized properly, can prove to be a powerful tool for developing the language and communication skills of the child. Students can overcome stage fright and learn the skills of public speaking & confident students can be power of the nation to bring prosperity and success.
