While going to attend the Budget Session at Parliament House, today in New Delhi, MP Lok Sabha from Khadoor Sahib constituency of Punjab, Ranjit Singh Brahmpura expressed his views with media persons that, "He will put his best efforts to get all the welfare schemes of Punjab people, those schemes which were launched by previous shrimoni akali dal govt. in punjab and provide maximum funds for the betterment of Khadoor Sahib constituency, Punjab.He further added that," hon'ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi, may Interfere for the solution of "SYL" canal issue between Punjab and Haryana, he asked Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh to take a clear stand in the state's interest over Sutlej Yamuna Link (SYL) issue in a meeting to be held on April 20 with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Haryana.

He further added that," Punjab has paid a heavy price due to the about turn made by a Congress chief minister on the directions of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.He further added, " We are ready to sacrifice ourselves but will not allow river water rights of Punjab to be surrendered at any cost",He further express views that, "Good sports players from punjab state will be suitably awarded and he will give recommendation before the hon'ble Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi to give support and help and financial benefits to the players of national and international level.He thankfully acknowledged the cooperation help and support of punjab people in the Assembly elections of Punjab, 2017 and for their decision Shrimoni Akali Dal welcome and he also assured that," while as ruling party in Punjab, we served the people and now we give full assurance to render our full cooperation help and support to the people of punjab state.
