Kanjak Puja which is important ritual of Navratri celebration which was celebrated at Ashmah International School with the beginning of the session .Spiritual ambience all around in the campus .Girls were considered as avatars of the Goddess Durga and were worshipped at the campus .Director of the school J.S. Kesar said at the moment that Kanjak Pooja is a biannual reminder to the people of the society that womanhood is to be honoured and respected because every woman is a manifestation of goddess Durga and the ritual is observed to reinforce the belief for maintaining the dignity of every woman.According to him the best way to empower the girls is by providing them skill oriented education, so that they can stand on their own. He further added that we should work as a catalyst in bringing sustainable change in the lives of underprivileged children, youth and women, with a life-cycle approach of development and announced the scholarship for deserving & meritorious girls .
