Universal Group of Institutions   organised a seminar on digital economy. Students were enlightened about the benefits of Digital Transaction and were trained how to use mobile banking, other mobile based banking tools. On this occasion, Comdr. Harish Birah, Chief Manager, Vijaya Bank was accompanied by T.N. Chourasia, Branch Manager, Vijaya Bank. Chief Manager Harish  Birah clear the  quaries regarding digital transactions.It was requested all  UGI  students  to encourage to use cashless transactions and also instructed to start all procurement process either official or non-official through e-medium.Dr.Gurpreet Singh, Chairman, UGI  said that faculty members & Students were informed at the moment that Digital India initiative was taken to bridge the digital divide in India and further promote digital literacy in order to make development a comprehensive mass movement and put governance within everyone's reach. It is the first effort by Government of India to involve young students in proposing solutions for problems faced by Departments in day-to-day functioning. This would lead to out of box thinking and provide innovative, disruptive and sustainable solutions.
