A joint meeting of Aam Aadmy Party and Lok Insaaf Party of Bains Brothers after the execution of pre-poll alliance was held at Imperial Hotel at Pakowal Road, here last night, with a view to establish good coordination and understanding among the leaders and cadres of both parties. The meeting was addressed by the senior leaders of both the parties including President Lok Insaaf Party Simarjit Singh Bains, AAP Candidate Ludhiana West Ahbaab Singh Grewal, Candidate Sahnewal Harjot Singh Bains, Ludhians Zone Observer Darshan Singh Shankar, Ludhiana East Candidate Daljit Singh Bhola Grewal, Jagraon Candidate Sarvjit Kaur Manukey, Gill Candidate Jiwan Singh Sangowal and Jagroop Singh Jarkhar. Around 300 prominent function functionaries of both the parties attended the meeting.
Addressing meeting Simarjit Bains asserted that the alliance of AAP and LIP will register a clean sweep in Punjab in the coming elections , as the people are completely fed up from the corrupt system adopted by traditional parties. He said that the cadres if both parties will work in complete unison, as they all are already fighting against the corruption and Mafia Raj of Badal having the same ideology and issues. He said that Badals and Amrinder were responsible for the the present kiosk in Punjab through corruption and drug bussiness. He asserted that the people were waiting for the imposition Code of conduct by Chief Election Commission and were anxious to give a befitting reply to the SAd-BJP and Congress.Speaking on the occasion , Mr. Ahbaab Singh Grewal AAP Candidate from Ludhiana West said that the forming of alliance has given a further push to high morale of cadres of both the parties, who were anxiously waiting for coming together of both like minded parties. He assured that the volunteers of both parties will carry out a joint vigorous election campaign in Ludhiana and whole Punjab.Addressing the meeting Harjot Bains slammed both Badals and Amrinder for completely running Punjab through their anti people policies. Ha said that the financial condition of farmers was very critical in the state and they were committing suicides because of loans and youth had been damaged with drugs.Darshan Singh Shankar said that he will ensure the proper coordination among the volunteers of both parties and will give full respect to each and every functionary.
