With a view to get first hand knowledge of the problems of  Trade, Industry and Transport and to  seek suggestions   for preparation of  exclusive   Manifesto  for trade and industry for  coming Sidhan Sabha  elections,  a  ‘Punjab Dialog program’  was  conducted  by  Aam Aadmi Party’s  Election Manifesto Committee’s   Convener Kanwar Sandhu  at Miller Ganj industrial Area here today.  In the programme representative from more than three dozen  associations from Trade, Industry and transport participated and highlighted the problems being face by the different sections. They also put forward the ways to solve the problems.Addressing the participants Mr. Kanwar Sandhu said that  AAP will accord main stress on the fast Industrialisation in the state to ensure the all round economic growth and create maximum job opportunities in Punjab. He added that single window system and online clearing will be strictly implemented to create congenial atmosphere for the fast growth of Industry. He slammed Badal Govt. for adopting anti trade and Industry policies, as a result of which these sectors got a major set back and a large number of Industries had migrated to the other neighbouring states and the trade and Transport was on the last breathes. He added that Badal Govt had completely adopted foolish policies related to trade and Industry and  the power tate is highest in the country, which had broken the back bone of these sectors.. 

Mr. Sandhu further added that after forming Govt in Punjab all the new policies will also be formed taking concerned sectors in confidence. He also assured that the tax system will be simplifies and rates will be reduced, as done in Delhi. Mr. Sandhu said that the Election Manifesto will not be a mere document, but AAP Govt. will implement each and every  promise made in the manifesto. He said that  AAP had already released manifestoes for Youth and for Farmers and labour, which were prepared after consultations with concerned sections. He added that in coming days manifestoes related to Dalits and Trade, Industry and Transport will be released.Mrs Chander Sutta Dogra member of Manifesto Committee speaking on the occasion said that the SAD-BJP Govt had committed big scams amounting to Rs. 3745 crores in the name of making state power surplus, which had  huge loss to the state exchequer. She added that the Govt signed agreement to purchase power from Pvt Thermal Plants at much higher rates and the State run plants had been closed for six months , which will cause loss of Rs. 1800 crores.  

Addressing the traders and industrialists   State President TTI Wing Aman Arora said that as a result of  anti trade and industry policies of  Govt had  fully ruined these sectors and forced thousands  more than 18000  industrial units to migrate and  trade has been completely paralysed. He strongly criticised the Tax Terror let loose by Modi Govt on the trade and industry and warned that AAP will strongly oppose the policyDr. Sarita through a presentation highlighted the achievements of Delhi Govt during its short tenure. She elaborated that tax collection has been made simple and rates reduced, with this the tax collection has been increased manifolds.Representatives from around three dozen Organisations high lighted the problems of trade and industry presented and put forward their suggestion to solve the He added that without the proper growth of Industry and Trade in the State, the total economy got paralysed and youth rendered jobless. Mr. Sandu asserted that the party had prepared  and released  Youth and Kisan Manifestoes by inviting the suggestions in Punjab dialogues, which were very close to the ground realities. tax collection has been enhanced substantially.Prominent who were present on this occasion included Surinder Singh Ryat, Badish Jindal, ' Kawaljit Singh Dua,  Vinod Thappar, Darshan Singh  Shankar,  Jagroop Singh Jarkhar, inderpal Singh Pali  and Puneet Punnu.
