Shiromani Akali Dal today described AAP's senior leader Ashutosh's justification of Sandeep Sharma, the sacked Delhi minster caught in a sex sting, as " the most scandalous political stance by any responsible party in independent India" and said that Ashutosh's statement should wake up those in Punjab who are still left in that party "But Ashutpsh's statement is hardly surprising, coming as it does from a party which was formed by stabbing anotehr Gandhian, Anna Hazare, in the back. Kejriwal has unleashed a culture of complete immorality in public life based purely on fulfillment of personal ambitions at any cost. Punjabis have a lot to fear the leaders and activists of this party," said Mr Mahesh Indier SIngh Grewal General Secretary of the SAD.
Mr Grewal wondered if Kejriwal will now throw Ashutosh out of the party for comparing Sandeep Sharma with Mahatma Gandhi. "This is unbelievable. How can a party stoop so low as to justify even the most indefensible and filthy conduct of its leaders? Kejriwal has built of party of corrupt and sleazy goons. The leaders of this party should never be allwoed to set foot on the sacred land of the Gurus, Punjab," said Mr Grewal.
