The joint candidate of Shiromani Akali Dal and Bahujan Samaj Party from Ludhiana West constituency, Maheshinder Singh Grewal, looked confident to register victory in this assembly election.While addressing the residents of Ludhiana West during public meetings in BRS Nagar, Barewal Road, Punjab Mata Nagar and other areas, Grewal predicted a clean sweep for the SAD-BSP ally party by examining the response from residents from all wards of Ludhiana West constituency.While slamming the Congress government for looting the state, Grewal said that in this election, the public will show Congress and other oppositions their worth by bringing SAD-BJP to power with clean sweep.
Meanwhile, Grewal lambasted Delhi's chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and said that Kejriwal has failed to resolve the issues of Delhi residents and now with the same fake promises and vague policies he is trying to woo voters here. “Kejriwal and his CM candidate for Punjab will destroy the state,” he said.Grewal said that it is only SAD which is the party of Punjab and Punjabis and only SAD is capable of resolving the issues of Punjabis. “It is SAD which started meritorious schools, constructed highways, provided people with Suwidha Centers and many other development projects were done in 10 years of SAD-BJP but no major development has taken place in the state in the last five years,” he said.
