Ashmah International School sec-70 celebrated Green Rakhi at its campus to motivate the students to take care the nature as its siblings. Raksha Bandhan is the perfect time to show love and affection towards siblings. Green Rakhi is an act of tying rakhi to trees to shield them from saws and axes. Girls of the school tied rakhis to plants and trees. Students   carried banners with   slogans like save trees, spread  Greenery, Save Motherland.  Girls put tilak and rice on the trees and plants. After tying rakhis, students of the school took oath to take care trees and plants and they will not pluck even single leaf or flower. Recitation competition on rakhi was also organised at the moment.

While motivating students Director  J S. Kesar Said that human life is only possible if we care about tree as they are the centre of human creation. We depend on trees for almost everything whether it is food cloth shelter or other necessary things in life so trees should be taken care & treated as our real brother and sister, so every year such eco-friendly Green Rakhi must be celebrated.Principal Amarpreet Kaur also guided the students about the value and vital importance of trees and exhorted the students that we should be custodians of these members.
