NPP holds Hiroshima Memorial Meeting on 71st Anniversary of Atam Bomb attack

National Panthers Party today held a memorial meeting in honour of those who were killed in Hiroshima and Nagasaki (Japan) in 1945 on August 6 & August 9 in Hiroshima and Nagasaki by the firstever atom bomb used by the Americans against Japan during the Second World War. The Panthers Party marked the 71st anniversary of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima on Monday by renewing calls for complete disarmament and for a free nuclear arsenals world.Prof.Bhim Singh leading the memorial meeting at Jantar Mantar, the Hyde Park of India called on the people of the world from all corners to force the United Nations to enforce an international ban on the manufacture of nuclear weapons and arsenals. The senior leaders of the Panthers Party including Rajiv Jolly Khosla (President, Delhi Pradesh Panthers Party), Romesh Khajuria (Sr. Vice President), MukeshJain, Khan Babur Jamshed, R.L. Pal, A.J. Rajan, Govind Koli, Dr. Narula (Chairman, Human Rights Protection Council), Swami Omji, Kali Ram Tomar, Bhawani Maharaj, K.K. Raghav and others.

The Panthers Party held a prayer meeting at the end of the meeting praying for nuclear weapons free world so that there shall be no more wars, no more blood, no more human killing and no more hatred and killing anywhere in the world. They also prayed that there shall be peace everywhere in the world and the people shall live in peace. It was also resolved to convey to US President, Barack Hussain Obama the killings of the people of India that going to Hiroshima was not enough and the world shall not forgive USA for using atom bomb in Hiroshima and Nagasaki unless the US President express unconditional apology before the world from the terrace of the broken Hiroshima. Prof.Bhim Singh prayed for the first time in 1972 in Hiroshima during his travels around the world on motorcycle for peace mission. He has been visiting almost every year since then. He visited in 2014 and joined prayer meeting at Hiroshima.
