Taking serious view of the habit of chronic absenteeism, The Rural Development and Panchayats Minister Sikander Singh Maluka today suspended Block Development and Panchayats officer Sukhpal Singh posted at Aaur (S.B.S Nagar).An official spokesperson of the Punjab Government said that it was brought to the notice of Deputy Commissioner of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar (Nawan Shehar) that said BDPO was continuously absent from the office from June 20 to till date . He said that the head office of this BDPO during his suspension would be Deputy Director, Panchayati Raj, Jalandhar.
