Youth Akali Dal President Sarabjeet Singh Jhinjhar is actively campaigning along with senior party leaders in favor of Akali Dal candidate Parupkar Singh Ghumman from Ludhiana West constituency. Addressing an election rally in Ludhiana, he said, “Good days are coming and our victory is also certain!
This is not just what I am saying, but every person in Punjab is saying this, and the love being received by Akali Dal from the people of Ludhiana testifies to the fact that the people of Punjab have also understood that bringing Akali Dal to the forefront is very necessary for Punjab’s progress.”
Jhinjer further said, “The road show organized yesterday under the leadership of Shiromani Akali Dal President S. Sukhbir Singh Badal ji was successful, and party leaders and Ludhiana residents contributed fully to making it successful. The way people participated in large numbers in this road show clearly shows the unwavering commitment of people towards the party.
Ludhiana is the heart of Punjab and the people here have come forward and made it clear that they now want the return of Akali Dal in Punjab.” Addressing the women of Ludhiana, Jhinjer said, “Whenever any Aam Aadmi Party leader comes to your house asking for votes, you have the right to stop them and ask where are our 1100 rupees per month that we haven’t received for 40 months?
Along with this, he also asked the youth to question the government about where are the 55,000 jobs promoted by CM Bhagwant Mann?” Expressing concern over the rising drug menace in the state, Jhinjer said, “Punjab’s future is in danger because of drugs.
On one hand, they say that 99% of drugs have been eliminated from Punjab, and on the other hand, their own ministers deny this. Not only this, they ask people to file complaints against drug traffickers, and those who raise their voice against drugs are subjected to action. What kind of war against drugs is this?”
Jhinjer also expressed concern about people being brought from Delhi to handle Punjab’s departments and said, “Today the positions that rightfully belong to Punjab are being handed over to Delhi. Instead of giving jobs to Punjab’s people, Punjab’s departments are being handed over to those leaders who have already been rejected by Delhi’s people.”
Speaking against Bhagwant Mann’s government, Jhinjer said, “The AAP government has been deceiving the people of Punjab for the past three and a half years. Apart from false advertisements, nothing has come to Punjab’s share. Neither did farmers get MSP guarantee, nor did families get compensation, nor did Punjab become drug-free, nor did youth get jobs.”
The Youth Akali Dal President further said, “The participation of women and youth in large numbers in yesterday’s road show indicates that people have now understood that for Punjab and Punjabiyat, for brotherhood and partnership, for Punjab’s progress, for peace, it is very necessary for Shiromani Akali Dal to come forward.”
Thanking the people, Jhinjer said, “Despite bad weather, people participated in the road show in large numbers, for which we are heartily grateful. This unity is showing that now Akali Dal’s victory is certain.”
During this time, party president Sukhbir Singh Badal, while addressing the road show, said, “The Aam Aadmi Party has done nothing in the past three and a half years, and Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is merely working as a puppet in the hands of AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal.”
