enior Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) leader and leader of opposition in the state assembly Chaudhary Abhay Singh Chautala has slammed union agriculture minister Radha Mohan Singh for his anti-farmers statement in which the latter said that the farmers of the country are committing suicide because of their family problems, love-affairs and impotency. He said that the union agriculture should not make such irresponsible statements about the farmers, who work day and night to feed the country. The farmer are becoming the victim of false promises made by the BJP and prime minister Narender Modi as the union government was not making efforts to implement the recommendations of the Swami Nathan commission.

He also slammed the government for insulting farmers , who have failed to repay their loans. The leader of opposition has demanded the union minister should apologize to the farmers  of the country for his statement otherwise the INLD will hold a protest at the Jantar-Manter in Delhi in the first week of August, and the party will also submit a memorandum to the President of country for the removal of the union agriculture minister. The INLD leader said that the poor economic condition of the farmers is the root cause of suicide of farmers. He also slammed the BJP government at the centre for not fulfilling its promise of implementation of the Swaminathan Commission, and now its leaders are insulting farmers.

Reacting to the over the allegations of spying leveled by Haryana health minister Anil Vij, Shri Chautala said  not only the minister of the ruling party but leaders of the opposition parties are also becoming victim of spying as the CID also tracking telephone calls of the leaders of opposition parties. The same had been done by the previous Bhupinder Singh Hooda led Congress government.  The leader of opposition said that the infightings witing the chief minister and his cabinet ministers are becoming headlines since the BJP government took over.  He said that the Cabinet minister is a responsible person in the government, but if the chief minister does not have faith in his cabinet colleagues, how the government will work.

He said that the duty of the CID is to monitor activities of the anti-social elements, but the previous Hooda government had appointed CID officers to keep an eye on the politicians, now the Khattar government also doing the same.  He said that chief minister was misusing the CID and it is a very serious issue. On the questions asked by media persons Shri Chautala said that the Anil Vij is most honest person in the politics of the state and nobody can raise a finger on his honesty,  if the chief minister does not trust him, he should remove Vij from his cabinet instead of spying.  On a question about the boxer Vijender Singh joining professional boxing, Shri Abhay Chautala said that if vijender will win, he will bring laurels for the country, and the government should boost his moral. “Like Indian cricketers, who earn good money and fame for the country,  we should also feel proud on our boxers if they bring laurels for the nation”, said Shri Chautala.
