The 130th Board of Directors Meeting of Himachal Pradesh State Civil Supplies Corporation was held under the Chairmanship of Ramesh Dhawala, Food and Civil Supplies Minister here today.It was revealed in the meeting that corporation had registered turnover of Rs. 1259.41 crore during 2011-12 which was seven percent more than the previous financial year.  Dhawala asked the officers to take effective steps to ensure more profit to the corporation by expanding activities. He also suggested to prepare a detailed plan so that various items could also be sold by making use of mobile vans in various parts of the State. The Board of Directors approved to provide 8.33 percent bonus for the year 2011-12 to eligible employees of the Corporation and also decided to provide education loan upto Rs. 75,000 to its employees whose children were studying in professional educational institutions. The Board also decided to make all those part time workers who had completed ten years as daily wagers. It also approved grant of medical reimbursement to retirees of the corporation besides taking up the matter with the State Government for giving pension to the retired employees of the corporation. It also decided to give two increments to the drivers of the corporation at par with other departments.B.M. Nanta, Managing Director of corporation gave details of the activities of the corporation after last meeting of Board of Directors. Ram Swaroop Sharma, Vice Chairman, Members of BOD Shri Prem Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary, Shri Ali Raza Rizvi, Secretary Health, Shri Jagdish Sharma, Secretary to Chief Minister, Shri Priyatu Mandal, Special Secretary Finance, Sh. A.S. Rathore, Director Food and Civil Supplies, Shri Hardyal Chandel and Smt. Prem Chauhan, Non official Directors, Shri B.M. Nainta, Managing Director State Civil Supplies Corporation also attended the meeting.
