The "Bolega Kharar, Badlega Kharar" foot march, being led by Shiromani Akali Dal Kharar constituency in-charge Ravinder Singh Kheda, entered its eighth day on Sunday. As part of the party's campaign covering all 27 wards of the constituency, the march covered Ward No. 11.

The march commenced from the Government School in Desumajra village and passed through Fatehullapur, Sunny Enclave, and Gulmohar Complex before concluding back at Desumajra village. In a significant moment on Sunday, veteran Shiromani Akali Dal leader S. Himmat Singh Desumajra joined the march.

Addressing the gathering, he said that only a regional party like the Shiromani Akali Dal, which understands the soil of Punjab and its people, can genuinely work for the state's development. He stressed that for Punjab's real progress, it is essential to strengthen regional politics instead of depending on parties controlled from outside the state.

Recalling the developmental work undertaken during the tenures of Parkash Singh Badal and Sukhbir Singh Badal, he said their governments laid a strong foundation in infrastructure, agriculture, and welfare schemes, the benefits of which Punjab continues to enjoy even today. He also honoured Ravinder Singh Kheda for his tireless efforts across the constituency.

Addressing the residents, Kheda thanked Himmat Singh Desumajra for strengthening the campaign with his presence and for standing as a strong pillar of support throughout the yatra. He assured the gathering that he would continue working tirelessly to further strengthen the ideals and position of the Shiromani Akali Dal.

Reiterating his commitment to the people of the constituency, Kheda said he would never compromise on their needs nor bow before any administrative pressure, regardless of how much pressure was exerted on him. He credited the uninterrupted momentum of the foot march to the blessings of the Almighty and the unwavering support of the people who have stood with him throughout the campaign.
