The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) family continues to expand as several senior Congress leaders from the Mukerian joined the party in the presence of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Wednesday. Among those who joined AAP were Sarpanch Anil Thakur, Beant Singh Randhawa, Poonam Rattu, Sarpanch Tajinder Pal Singh, Rajesh Rattu, Sarpanch Lakhvir Singh, Sher Singh Shera, and former Akali Dal Assembly candidate Sarbjot Singh Sabi.

They expressed their faith in the policies and vision of the Aam Aadmi Party and announced their decision to join the party along with their supporters. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann formally welcomed all the leaders into the party and said that AAP’s people-centric governance, honest politics, and commitment to Punjab’s development are attracting leaders and workers from across the political spectrum.

He stated that the continuous expansion of the AAP family reflects the growing trust of the people in the party’s policies and the work being done by the Punjab government. He added that leaders who genuinely want to serve the people are voluntarily associating themselves with AAP.

The newly inducted leaders said they were deeply impressed by the honest and transparent governance being provided under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. They said that AAP has emerged as the only political force working sincerely for the welfare and progress of Punjab, and therefore they decided to join the party along with their supporters.

The Chief Minister expressed confidence that the joining of these experienced grassroots leaders would further strengthen the party's organizational structure in the Mukerian and help take the government's pro-people initiatives to every household. He assured all the new members of due respect and responsibility within the party and welcomed them into the AAP family.
