Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema today held meetings with Home Guard Welfare Association (Retd.), Punjab Police Corona Warriors Association, Punjab Forest Department Workers Union and Thermal Plant Karamchari Sang. He stated that the Punjab government is committed to resolving the grievances of various employee welfare associations. He assured that all legitimate demands raised by the associations will be fulfilled shortly.

The Minister gave assurances to the associations that their legitimate demands will be fulfilled shortly during a high-level review meeting held today in his office. The meeting was attended by Home Secretary Neelima, along with other senior administrative officers.

During the discussions, Minister Cheema specifically assured the representatives that the case pertaining to Home Guard Welfare association retd. would be forwarded to Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann for final approval at the earliest. These meetings were held in a highly cordial atmosphere. 

The Punjab government reiterated its supportive stance towards the welfare of all state workers and frontline warriors.
