In the presence of Punjab Cabinet Minister Aman Arora, the unanimously elected Chairperson of Block Samiti Sunam, Pradeep Kaur Biggarwal, and Vice Chairman Sandeep Virk Soni formally assumed charge of their respective offices today. A large number of local leaders and prominent personalities from the area were present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Cabinet Minister Aman Arora congratulated the newly elected office-bearers and said that the Block Samiti plays a vital role in the development of villages and in fulfilling the basic needs of the people. He said that the Punjab Government is fully committed to the overall development of rural areas and that, with the cooperation of the newly elected office-bearers, development works would progress at an even faster pace.

The Cabinet Minister said that the scale of development undertaken during the last four years of the Aam Aadmi Party government had not been witnessed even in the previous seventy years. He added that the state government had made significant improvements in basic sectors such as education, healthcare, roads, water supply, and electricity, the benefits of which are directly reaching the people.

Aman Arora further said that the people have expressed their trust in the policies and development-oriented vision of the Aam Aadmi Party, and this responsibility now needs to be carried forward with even greater commitment. He urged the new Chairperson and Vice Chairman to work with honesty, transparency, and with public welfare as their top priority.

The newly elected Chairperson, Pradeep Kaur Biggarwal, and Vice Chairman, Sandeep Virk Soni, said that they would discharge their responsibilities with full dedication and remain committed to the development of every village in the block. They added that addressing the problems of the people on a priority basis would remain their foremost objective.

On the occasion, the leaders and party workers present extended their congratulations to the new office-bearers and expressed hope that, under their leadership, Block Samiti Sunam would set new benchmarks of development.
