The Governor of Punjab and Administrator, Union Territory Chandigarh, Shri Gulab Chand Kataria, today interacted with the members of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly and their family members at Punjab Lok Bhavan, Chandigarh. Welcoming the visiting delegation, Shri Kataria shared his views on good governance, financial accountability, transparency, and various issues of public importance. 

He emphasized that Public Accounts Committees play a crucial role in ensuring transparency, accountability, and the prudent utilization of public resources. The Governor observed that dialogue and exchange of experiences among legislative institutions of different states contribute significantly to strengthening democratic governance and enhancing administrative effectiveness. 

He also apprised the visitors of the rich cultural heritage of Punjab and Chandigarh, besides highlighting various developmental initiatives and administrative innovations being undertaken in the region. The interaction was held in a warm and cordial atmosphere. Members of the Committee and their family members engaged in an informal exchange with the Governor and appreciated the hospitality extended to them at Punjab Lok Bhavan.
