In a significant initiative aimed at fostering entrepreneurship, innovation, and industry-academia collaboration, the Entrepreneurship & Startup Support Cell (ESSC) under the Centre for Career Success at Rayat Bahra University (RBU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Shukra Pharmaceuticals Public Ltd. during a formal ceremony held in New Delhi.

The MoU was signed in the presence of Prof. (Dr.) Sanjay Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, Rayat Bahra University; Prof. (Dr.) N. K. Yadav, Registrar; Dr. Simmi Prakash, Group Director, Entrepreneurship Cell, Rayat Bahra Group; Amandeep Bhalla, Vice President, Shukra Pharmaceuticals Public Ltd.; Amit Tiku, Director, and Ranjana Tiku Highlighting the significance of the partnership, Dr. Simmi Prakash stated that the collaboration is designed to support entrepreneurial and innovation-driven initiatives among students and faculty members. 

A major outcome of the agreement is the facilitation of a Rs 10 lakh pre-seed fund secured by ESSC, which will help aspiring entrepreneurs and faculty innovators transform their ideas into sustainable ventures. The partnership will also create opportunities for internships, industry exposure, employability enhancement, incubation support, and startup mentoring. 

Special focus will be given to ventures in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, medicine, agriculture, and other socially impactful sectors. Chairman of Rayat Bahra Group, Gurvinder Singh Bahra, appreciated the initiative and commended the efforts of ESSC and the university leadership in building meaningful industry partnerships for future entrepreneurs.
