The Alpha School of Rayat Bahra University organised Hackathon 2026, a 24-hour national-level coding event, bringing together some of the brightest young minds from across the country. The event marked a significant step towards promoting innovation-driven learning and real-world problem-solving among students.
Held under the visionary leadership of Chancellor Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Vice Chancellor Dr. Sanjay Kumar, and the guidance of Dr. Pooja Sharma, the hackathon provided a dynamic platform for aspiring developers and innovators. The highlight of the event was “Codestone 2026,” a 24-hour non-stop hackathon that witnessed participation from 52 teams representing seven states.
The participants demonstrated remarkable creativity, technical proficiency, and innovative thinking while working on real-time challenges. Students from reputed institutions such as Amity University, Punjab Engineering College, Maharaja Agrasen University, along with several South Indian institutions, participated with great enthusiasm.
The event was also graced by Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Satish Kumar and Dr. V. N. Shivling, who attended as Chief Guest and judge, respectively. The judging panel also included Dr. Prasenjit Das and Om Kanoujia.
The judges appreciated the participants’ enthusiasm and innovative mindset. Codestone 2026 reflected Alpha School’s commitment to fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and industry-oriented learning while preparing students to become future-ready technology leaders.
