Rayat Bahra University organised Alumni-Parent Conference 2026 under its University School of Life Sciences and Sciences, bringing together alumni, parents, graduating students, and faculty members on a shared platform aimed at strengthening institutional relationships, fostering academic excellence, and encouraging meaningful dialogue.

The programme commenced with a warm welcome to distinguished guests followed by a ceremonial lamp lighting symbolising knowledge and enlightenment performed by parents and alumni. Dean Prof Dr Simerjit Kaur highlighted the importance of alumni and parental engagement in shaping the academic ecosystem and reiterated that institutional success is reflected through the achievements of its graduates.

Chancellor Gurvinder Singh Bahra reaffirmed the university’s vision of nurturing globally competent professionals equipped with knowledge values and leadership qualities while appreciating alumni as ambassadors of the institution across the world. Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Sanjay Kumar emphasized academic innovation research excellence and industry-oriented education while Dean Alumni Relations Dr Prince Vohra highlighted the importance of sustained alumni engagement for mentorship, networking and career development opportunities.

One of the major attractions of the conference was the Success Story Sharing Session, during which alumni and graduating students shared their academic journeys, professional achievements, and personal experiences, inspiring the audience with their stories of perseverance and success. An interactive dialogue between the Chancellor and parents addressed academic quality student welfare career opportunities initiatives.

Cultural performances by students added vibrancy to the occasion followed by a networking lunch that encouraged stronger relationships among stakeholders. The conference concluded with gratitude expressed to all participants and reaffirmed the commitment of Rayat Bahra University to academic excellence, stakeholder engagement and lifelong bonds among students’ parents and alumni.
